Sugar-coated Shariah

Pakistani society is facing one of the toughest phases of its existence in the name of religion it has won independence on. Islam, a code of conduct that aims peace and love for all has been tainted into numerous colours in Pakistan. Sectarianism is expanding like viral diseases making the society complex enough to be united as a soul. Besides, the issues of enactment of Shariah by fundamentalist have added fuel to the fire.
Though, the religious enforcement and maintenance need significant attention in general. Proper teachings and application through appropriate procedures is must in order to avoid ambiguities or misconceptions produced by self made religious fanatics. Islam and Shariah are endorsed with open heart at ground levels, as most of the population belongs to the middle class close family structures. It is not something alien to be imposed irrationally or by force whereas disintegrated scholarly class is the biggest hurdle in the formation of a true Islamic political rule.
As far as the claimers are concerned, there is least in their actions that may present a desire to have Shariah. It seems like the Shariah is solely a fight for power. It is to confront the military and occupy areas to establish a personal rule of tyranny. If Shariah is a serious approach of the so claiming groups then it can never be established through bloodshed at any level. Instead the terrorist acts are pissing a large majority off from the religion which is of great concern. Competence for captivity and commanding by militancy is arrogant enough in its nature that it can never be associated to Shariah anywhere and especially in Pakistan.
And if it is so, then where was the dire need of Shariah when military through US aid motivated and supported the masses to do Jihad in Afghanistan? The money and the projection were legal then? Where were the standard-bearers of Shariah when MMA and ANP kept bullying the whole NWFP along with its resources during their tenures? When the politicians stake the lives of citizens for their own motives? When people were being killed for political motions, the Shariah was alien to the radicals. There is a lot to be answered while Shariah comprise more at grass root before tangling into issues to administer.
Pakistan doesn’t short ruling rats that have mastery to unfurl the worst of all in defined politics. Undoubtedly, it’s a shitty game that disgust all involved and so will the self assumed torch bearers of Shariah. And in this case it is prominent already for the matters of questions are why implementation of Shariah does not include…
·        Banning of the brothel houses in the state?
·        Limiting the maladjustment of political agents or politicians in localities?
·        Controlling of child abuse by the apparent saintly figures?
·        Cease the drugging and smuggling in the tribal areas?
·        Securing the grant of education for all specially men?
·        Prevention of theft factors?
·        Protection and projection of True Islamic teachings?
·        Helping the needy as required to coup up with evilness bred in despair?
·        Defending the adjusting territories from external threats for the sake of domestic defense?
It personally isn’t a support for the military in Pakistan rather objectionable because unless the society will recognize its role at grounds and will control the domestic plans of development, military will intervene. The objections on military to raise a conflict are quite illogical for the practicality produces more contradictions. For instance, military for monitory gains has sacrificed the tribal people in order to gratify US and allies. Then why do tribal join Pakistan Army? Why do we see a large number of Pakhtun in forces? Why did military tried to make a peaceful agreement on Swat which turned out to be a mess and in return provoked operation against the militants? Why does the establishment secure rehabilitation and facilitation projects in the effected areas? Why do localities accept the presence of forces in the areas as friendly except in certain cases?
Just give a thought to who hinders Shariah specifically in Pakistan? Shariah, the code of regulating social lives can be implemented only among masses either the government or the establishment accord or not. It is a peaceful process that requires general consent and exercise by the society instead of any larger elite force with defined and controlled territory. Radicalizing the individuals and stimulating violence that challenge the national entities would only result back in chaos as has been seen since recent years. This has not only destabilized the nation but also the developmental pace of the state creating more problems at all levels.
Apart from the low percentage of leisurely class in the state, there is a great deal of work is to be done on people. There are misconceptions about religion and its true essence of performance. The clergy class must be well trained and taught to elaborate Shariah among people and make it appropriate enough to be accepted without aggression. The un-Islamic activities common in society aren’t to be addressed by the state or establishment but somewhat by the known ones in the society. Various segments of the state should be visualized, searched and entertained through educating religion for curing local evils.

We also want Shairiah but Shariah is not dependent on system rather on individualism. Those who are Muslims and are educated understand the religion and act accordingly. They analyze things as per religious explanation and try to implement as directed. They have moderate attitude, humble and sensible enough to resolve issues according to Islam. Shariah neither had any space for radicalism nor support it.
