Sandwich Pakistan in bi-polar powers

For many, Ukraine’s issue is another phase of cold war era that sustained between the western and the eastern world blocs with disturbing time periods especially during 1947-91. It was a new phase that adopted every influential prospect of enemy’s detention except ammunition and direct physical combating. This is the most unique feature that changed the entire mode of confrontation between the territories throughout the world. Though the disintegration of former USSR, once again was the counter result of a clear aggression upon Afghanistan but the effective strategies tempted by the cold era gained strong roots towards the core of global civilization.

The uni-polar world enjoyed some great bloody ventures terming itself as the sole controller of the world politics disregarding the fact that scars of the bi-polar wounds would never vanish from the phase of earth. Such changes are least permanent being part of the progressive life and so the confrontation was witnessed at certain times. The ideological difference of this division was so strong that it has to face someday again and seems like the right time for it has reached, where Ukraine is the play ground of the moment. Once again, no matter how but the engagement of the bi-polar entities in the case would drag in the best of its moves to dominate.

Today, US open claim of its own interest being prior to any existence made it very precise to the rest of the humanity of any violation. It has flushed the respect of ideological or sovereign right of the states stirring a sense of head to head response. And again, the indulgence of US in Ukraine shows the ambiguity of the war strategies following the political hegemony. Being communal partners in UNO and engaged into collective advancement, it can be taken as another foul play to fuse the world into a new war game for another global division nourishing the soils with fruitless blood. But, apparently there could be more tragic happenings with respect to history.

Pakistan in this regard seems quite a candidate to be involved. Having diplomatic relations with former USSR and later proceeding with Ukraine in 1992 after its one year’s independence, Pakistan has profound cooperative ties with Ukraine in the aerospace engineering and technology, medical sciences, education and culture as well as trade. The intimated war assistance of Pakistan into Afghan war has not placed it into the enemy’s list for the Russians because it unfortunately has become a moderator among the bi-polar tie to be used alternatively by each. And now, Syria can also be the reason of this conflicting attitude between the two forces.

The recent communication of Ukraine’s ambassador to pro-Ukrainian expectations against Russia  indicates some direct interests in the military venture which can be perceived more as bi-polar strategic tangle rather than merely Ukraine’s occupation. Though, it’s an appeal for the moral support but the recent move of Russia scraping the arms embargo on Pakistan comprehends the possible approach. A generalized view is still applied on Ukraine-Russian tussle as external infusion through conspiracy that is well understood why Pakistan can be into the game.

Either its US future stance on Afghanistan or the conspired action to frisk on Syria, Pakistan has its undeniable significance. Afghanistan is an intangible ground for any external force without Pakistan’s assistance irrespective to the identity of the combatants like Taliban or Mujahedeen. And Syria itself is the sole destination of the rising Islamists making it the ultimate objective of brawl with the infidels. Therefore, there is a powerful link between the two areas, making it understandable why Pakistan is important for both the world powers US and Russia along with allies. It is a considerable peacekeeper associate already as is part of UNO too.

It doesn’t matter if it’s an individual state’s interest in either of the region or collaborative effort to crush an emerging and succeeding prophecy hindering the strength of the unlikely Western or European believes but the impression is well apprehended. As far as Pakistan is concerned, despite of all the internal or external insecurities it is drugged in, there are least possibilities of any supremacy in this situation at both ends. Pakistani’s are most reluctant towards dumping Syria or encompassing lands and the proximity to the Afghan bloodlines are pre-defined already. Hence, it is a good deal of thought to poke Pakistan now and then but of no use.
