Diseased Muslim Hood

The scientific statement “energy can neither be created nor destroyed but can change its form” has become quite obtrusive when it comes to the emotional energies involved into binding humanity. The changing energies are dangerous enough to challenge the extinction of humanity on globe. Today, religion is the form of energy, being used to target the commonality for entire race. The aim was to enhance the communication system, enclose the world and achieve peace and comfort for all. Despite, it consequent into further misconceptions in the name of freedom of expression, intolerance to accept others, conflicts to sub due the opponent and devastate the antagonist by all means.

The announcement of enactment of Shariah in Brunei may raise or stir some fraction of Pakistan that is active in the awakening of Shariah in Pakistan. The only attraction regarding it is the possibility of application of true Islamic Law ignorant to the facts that Brunei Darussalam is a small state, accompanying Islamic states at neighbourhood and has a unitary form of government comprising absolute monarchy. The existence of Shariah is viable to much extent in such circumstances along with the majority following Shafi’s sect of Islam and providing freedom of religion in a peaceful way to the ethnics. There still are chances of instability in the running of state through Shariah because of the latent global advancements and population variety.

On the other hand, it is not only Pakistan but in fact Muslims all around the world who realizes the need of implementation of Shariah to unite the Muslim community and coup up with the problems faced by them. Though this is an ambiguous approach and kind of inappropriate the way regional political structures have been developed. For mostly the disintegration of territorial zones, divisional rules and nationalism policy adopted by the Muslim states, there is no practicality in the provision of Shariah.

Let’s suppose Shariah is implemented in its original essence, in any Muslim state the larger majority won’t accept it because they won’t back off from…

·        Drinking, adultery, vulgarity, music and definitely dancing

·        Usuries and un-Islamic profit oriented business or trading

·        Self-proposed law and punishments

·        Maladjustments, thefts and inequality among mass treatment

·        Following the un-Islamic political systems and procedures etc.

These were the same issues before the expansion of Islam. Religion was not opposed because of its nominal introduction within the then sustained set-up rather its new code of life which claimed a social fabric that made life easier for all. It balanced rights and obligations in such a way that controlled intrusive constraints in social segments. It has discriminated the good and bad, the beneficial and the ruining social agents. Islam is the modest of all religions but does not encourage acts infectious to human existence even than human nature is rebellious. It cannot be confined, compelled and governed because of which there is law and penalties.

Because of the reason, the religion has been modified as it pleases certain sections. Specifically, it is impossible to have Shariah when there are integrated numbers of sects within the same religion. All of these sects again aren’t nominal rather have various dimensional perspectives on certain defined rules or practices. To have a Shariah Law, they must unite, act together and abide by the one direction. Thinking beyond it is simply impossible as it is the root cause of the decline of Muslim hood.

Apart from this, the modernized social pattern has merged world hues so deeply that there would be least with the potential to lead their lives according to Shariah. Muslims have become weaker by the time trying to show solidarity and compromising attitude with the world. They have diseased their roots and beget a disintegrated Muslim world with too much of diversity in religion. And lastly, none among them is wrong with exception to revive the religion in its original form through proper and comprehensive study which too seems unendurable.

The traditionalism associated with the sectarianism has populated evil. Today’s Shariah would only result into bloodshed which is already predicted in Ahadith as well. It doesn’t mean that it should be discarded but required a serious assessment for execution. The Islamic code of life needs to be revitalized at social level, by infusing and regenerating state of structure accordingly. It has to be handled in such a way that the flexibility can adjust and convince the thresholds from reacting viciously. Shariah is meant to produce prosperity not cruelty therefore; contemporary culture must be envisioned for its reinstatement.
